Bloggers often have to rejuvenate their sites. Life keeps us from sharing with our readers through busy schedules, tragedies etc. Many of us go about this by making a post apologizing and keeping the ball rolling. But as I looked at the time that was spent doing things outside of my blog, I realized that I was being robbed. My ability to write had been taken by the cares of this world. The experience of being arrested by my schedule, business and personal life gave me a choice: start a whole new way of living (that included SFB as a priority) or kill my blog altogether.
I thought of the men and women who may need whatever words that God would impart and I knew that closing the blog was not an option. So, I thought. God gives us power through the Holy Spirit. I know it is going to take the Holy Spirit to give me power to set aside time for this assignment. It is going to take the Holy Spirit to give me the creativity I need to write the stories, poems and essays. When I got the power of God the first time, I became a Born Again Christian. What better way to denote my choice to pick up this responsibility again than to call it the rebirth? Why Rebirth? Because I'm giving life to this purpose all over again; as if it were the first time. But this time, I'm doing it with the acknowledgement that it won't be in my power but in God's.
