"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:33 |
Ephesians 1:16-18 Today's devotion doesn't come with bells and whistles. I simply want to ask you if you have been thankful for the trials, experiences and circumstances that you are in? This morning I woke up and God's voice spoke very clearly, "In all things, be thankful." When God voice speaks so audibly, I listen. And I think you should too. Whatever you are facing thank God for it and watch how your gratitude helps your mind.
Life is life. Even the word declares that it is hell. But if you go through this Earth angry at the hand you were dealt, you will never access the things of God. Decide today to be grateful, even for your hardships. Be glad that you are in a place where God can show up and show out. This is your opportunity of faith; your chance for a grace experience. Don't ruin it by failing to be thankful. Paul wrote to the church of Ephesus and in Ephesians 1:16-18, he makes a bold statement. He said that he never ceased to thank God for the church. And then, he said something awesome. That he prayed that God would give them wisdom and revelation of him. Today, my heart is like Paul's. I am grateful for every battle that each of the #excellentchallengers are facing. And I thank God in advance for revealing unto you the things that he wills. Take a moment to stare at your problems and be grateful. Praise God for you problems. He may not answer right away but he will give you wisdom and revelation concerning the things you war against. He has riches in glory for you and your gratitude is the best way to get them. Check out today's prayer! And be sure to Tweet, Facebook and Instagram us using the hashtag #100DaysofExcellence.
